This is the experience of Roosevelt Dime, “ says Jill Carletti, Managing Director of Harmony Presents. Roosevelt Dime, called a “perpetual crowd pleaser” by The New York Times is playing Harmony Presents in the underground theater of the Hawley Silk Mill on Saturday, October 25 at 8:00 pm. “Some would call it Rock & Roll, others Americana, but “Mardi-Grass” is more like it—a bedrock of New Orleans rhythms that brings driving, melodic banjo, fat-back blues guitar, pure honky-tonk harmonies, and deliciously dirty R&B vocals along for the ride—it makes for a groove so inspired that the ho-hum heart can’t help but be inspired,” adds Carletti. The band features top-caliber players on banjo, gutbucket basses, clarinet and sax with incredible showmanship. “The Roosevelt Dime is not a relic of the past, it’s the silver in your pocket,” sums up Carletti.
