Fall Fun at Klingel’s Farm and Mazezilla

October 16, 2007 by Pocono Talk 3 Comments

If you’re looking for fall fun in the Poconos look no further then Klingel’s Farm and Mazezilla – it is a must for all ages. My husband and I attended our sons field trip there this past Monday and everyone had tons of fun. When you arrive the Farm stand is directly next to the parking lot with all kinds of fresh produce and wide variety of affordable fall products. I will have to take better notes next time but off the top of my head I believe the hay bales were $5 each and mums were 3 for $10. Great prices and EXCELLENT quality!

Klingels Farm and MazezillaShortly after we arrived we boarded a tractor that took us over to the Mazezilla section, it took a loop around the pumpkin fields showing off the large amount of available pumpkins and really getting the kids excited. When we arrived the kids set loose and had a ton of fun doing activities that they don’t get the chance to do on a daily basis. A few favorites of my son were they hay bales to jump on, a mini corral with bikes, pipe slides, and a sandbox filled with corn. My personal favorite was seeing the mini horse, they are just too cute!

Fun for all ages

For our sons and his school friends, ages 3 to 6, the kids really seemed to enjoy everything and it kept them occupied, nothing says fun like getting to throw hay on mom and dad. For older children and adults the most fun part would probably be the corn maze and pumpkin picking which we did not have the chance to do. I think part of the fun of living in the Poconos is the great activites it provides and memories that you make. Going out and picking your own pumpkins out of a real pumpkin patch builds great memories for kids and adults alike.

Corn Maze

Mazezilla’s corn maze this year is the in shape of the United States, is over 10 acres and is just massive to look at. Sadly we did not get a chance to experience it but maybe next year. I have heard a tip for any maze – keep your hand on one wall and follow it the entire way and you will definitely get out eventually.

Our time at Klingel’s Farm and Mazezilla was a fun and memory making experience and there are plenty of other places to experience the fun of fall in the Poconos. If you have gotten a chance to visit Mazezilla or have another location or experience you would like to share please post a comment, we would love to hear about your experience.

Great place to take the kids!

And for the parents, you should really go and have a look at their PRICES, I was amazed as to how affordable they are. I would surely give this place a two thumbs up!

Cancelled my son’s birthday party an hour before it was scheduled to start yesterday because of a little rain. Never told me when I booked the party that they close for rain. Wouldn’t let me come later in the day. Even though claimed they were booked for the afternoon, could have made a little space for us, considering they chose to close during my booked event. Son’s birthday ruined. Thanks Mazezilla! Will NEVER be giving you my business ever again! What poor business ethics!

Sorry to hear that, that’s really unfortunate. I know how much time & planning goes into a kid’s party I can’t believe they’d just cancel like that and not make other accommodations. I’d definitely try to reach out again, sometimes you get staff that has no “authority” versus talking to the owner. If you speak with the owner and it’s the same result then that would be terrible.
