March 21, 2022 by Pocono Talk Leave a Comment

TANNERSVILLE, Penn. – In blossomy April and throughout the warm spring and summer months, outdoor adventure seekers of all ages and skill levels can visit Camelback Resort for great fun experiencing the resort’s mountain air adventures. Four major outdoor attractions, including Pennsylvania’s only Mountain Coaster, open next month with more to come for summer. Mountain Mayhem continues to excite water sliders, and the resort app helps the whole day (or stay) run smoothly.

The schedule for the highly anticipated Camelback Mountain Adventures for outdoor thrills:

  • On Friday, April 8, the Appalachian Express Mountain Coaster opens. It features an amazing 4,500 feet of steel track and passenger cars that thrillingly zoom down the steep slopes of Camelback Mountain.
  • On Saturday, April 16, the 1,000-foot Double Barrel Zipline opens to deliver a heart-pounding experience as enthusiasts are harnessed up and then zip through the trees up to eight stories above the ground.
  • Saturday, April 30, is the opening of the Euro Bungee where participants can do flips and tricks or just enjoy the four-minute exciting jump!
  • Saturday, April 30, is also the date for the opening of the Mountain Segway/UTV (Utility Task Vehicle) Tour – an off-road adventure taking travelers through the forest to experience fabulous scenic views and a special visual perspective of the Poconos.

All Adventure tickets must be purchased online at https://www.camelbackresort.com/mountain-adventures

At Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark, the recently opened immersive water slide adventure – Mountain Mayhem – takes water sliders to the next level of interactive wonderment by offering four unique techno-centric adventures projected inside the slide along with musical effects.

Camelback Resort’s Arcadia Family Indoor Adventure Center provides families fun with hours of playing time with entertainment housed on two levels, including over 100 videos and interactive games positioned in age-appropriate zones.

Before and during their stay guests are encouraged to utilize the resort app– available on IOS and Android – to book their stay, plan itineraries, arrange for equipment rental, procure tickets, make dining reservations, reserve poolside cabanas, explore the property and secure real-time information.

And for a sweet ending to busy, fun-filled adventures, guests can play all day and stay overnight at Camelback Lodge. The Lodge offers 453 guest suites with many suites perfect for multi-generational vacations with full kitchens, fireplaces, balconies and spacious lofts.
