On Saturday, April 5th at 7:30 pm, “Brooklyn Southern Soul” band, The Gold Magnolias return to Harmony Presents & the underground theater of the Hawley Silk Mill. The band is comprised of a few southern boys living in New York City with a sound that evokes such artists as recent phenoms, The Alabama Shakes and soul-stalwarts like Fats Domino and James Brown. “The first time we had them, audience members I didn’t know were hugging me and high-fiving me after the show, asking for them to return. They just ooze with talent and showmanship. We’re so very lucky to have them back. Don’t be surprised if you end up dancing, stomping, clapping and singing. It’s just what happens when people watch The Gold Magnolias live,” says Jill Carletti, Managing Director of Harmony Presents. Harmony Presents concerts and shows take place in the beautiful & historic Boiler Room at the Hawley Silk Mill located on the ground floor at 8 Silk Mill Drive in Hawley, overlooking the falls shared with Ledges Hotel. Audiences are encouraged to arrive early for preferred seating. Tickets for both shows are $18 in advance and $22 at the door.
