Bluegrass with the Coal Town Rounders at Harmony Presents

On Saturday, August 8th, Pennsylvania Bluegrass band, The Coal Town Rounders play two shows in one night at Harmony Presents. “This hard-driving driving four-piece traditional bluegrass band is made up of mandolin, guitar, banjo, bass & tight harmonies from various parts of NEPA. Drawing influence from all types of old time string bands, bluegrass standards and some modern tunes, this show is sure to make grandma dance and little junior click his heals,” says Jill Carletti, Managing Director of Harmony Presents. She adds, “With a decidedly frenetic nod to the Lester Flatt/Foggy Mountain Boys era of Earl Scruggs, and the Opry-infused, honky-tonk bluegrass of classic rhinestoned acts like The Osborne Brothers, the Coal Town Rounders pay homage to a glorious, toothpick-in-mouth backwoods chorus past, with the creative sensibility that comes from stories being handed down with just a slight twist to the tale upon each new recitation. Be prepared for a good foot stompin’ time with one of Northeast PA’s favorite bluegrass groups. The Coal Town Rounders have performed numerous shows since our beginning, standing the test of time. They’re consistently a favorite among our audiences.”

Harmony Presents concerts and shows take place in the underground theater of the Hawley Silk Mill located at 8 Silk Mill Drive in Hawley, PA. Show times for the Coal Town Rounders are at 6pm and 8:30pm. Early Bird Tickets are available for the first 15 ticket buyers at $15. After these sellout, tickets are available for the next 35 ticket buyers at the Advance price of $16. When both these ticket types have closed, tickets become available at the General Admission price of $20. Tickets can be purchased in advance online at www.harmonypresents.com or in person at AMSkier Insurance Agency located at 209 Main Ave. in Hawley. Cocoon caters wine, beer, snacks and mixed drinks on site at the shows and an advance ticket serves as a coupon for 20% off Glass Wine Bar & Bistro after the show. For more information, or help purchasing tickets, please call Harmony Presents at (570) 588-8077. Harmony Presents is proudly sponsored by Bold Gold Media Group.
