Intimate Harmonies and Emotive Sonic Landscapes, The Sea The Sea Returns

On the Saturday after Thanksgiving, Nov 26 at 8:00pm, Harmony Presents welcomes back one of the most stunning performers from their previous season. “The Sea The Sea’s ethereal, powerful and seemingly effortless song-craft and stage presence will easily take listeners on a journey through gorgeous sonic landscapes and lovers of Simon and Garfunkel will swoon,” says Managing Director, Jill Carletti. This highly anticipated group is made-up of long-time troubadours Chuck E. Costa and Mira Stanley who get their band name, The Sea The Sea, from an ancient Greek history, and means “A cry of joy” to this duo. Appointed by the Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism based on a recommendation by a panel of music professionals, The Sea The Sea serves as ambassadors of music and song to encourage cultural literacy and promote the State of Connecticut.  “Separately, Chuck and Mira can stand alone as fantastic performers, but when they sing together, in harmonies so close it’s like they sing with one voice, it’s clear they are a rare musical match. They’ve become a Harmony Presents favorite,” adds Jill Carletti.

Harmony Presents these shows in the underground theater, also known as the Boiler room, located on the lowest level of the Hawley Silk Mill at 8 Silk Mill Drive, Hawley, PA.  Advance tickets are available for $19 up until midnight before the show. After this, tickets will be $22. During the show, enjoy wine, beer and light snacks catered on site in the Boiler Room by Cocoon Catering.

For more information about these events or to purchase tickets, visit www.harmonypresents.com, send an email to jill@silkmillharmony.com or call (570) 588-8077.  Tickets may be purchased in person at AMSkier Insurance Agency located at 209 Main Ave in Hawley, during regular business hours.
