Dave Matthews Band opener and king of funky, soulful, spicy and intelligent tunes, the Nat Osborn Band plays Harmony Presents the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 30th at 7:30 pm. After wowing the New York music scene and a several month tour in Europe, The Nat Osborn Band visits our corner of Northeast PA to stir up grooves so intoxicating you’ll forget yourself.
Folk sessions in seaside pubs in Ireland, tabla lessons from a guru in India and jams of hot club jazz on the streets of Budapest all blend together in creating the unique sound of The Nat Osborn Band. This is what draws people to their music and also what makes it hard to define. Whether it’s a lush, hypnotic ballad about heartbreak, a polyrhythmic Latin-rock song, a dub song about post-traumatic stress, or a drunken tango about destitute desire, these tunes are as unpredictable and enthralling, as they are catchy and thoughtfully composed. This powerhouse ensemble with a decade of experience behind them is sure to get you lost in a lush landscape of exceptional songwriting and showmanship.
