Over the years we’ve struggled finding indoor places for our kids to have fun during the long winters in the Poconos. It starts getting cold early many years (October snow?!), and the winters can drag on and even at a higher elevation where we live, you might see green grass and flowers blooming in Stroudsburg, and it still takes a few weeks for us to catch up. Considering almost 1/2 of the year it can be cold, or just muddy and dull, we’re always on the lookout for creative ways to have our kids have fun, and exercise, that doesn’t break our wallets.
Enter Xtreme Jump Zone, a new attraction to the Pocono Mountains that just opened, and is sure to provide your kids with hours of fun. There are other “Bounce” places that we’ve attended, but the closest is down in the Bethlehem/Easton area, and can be quite a drive. This is the first bounce location right in the Poconos that serves multiple purposes – they have “open bounces” where the kids can run around and play, they have Mom/Tot times(you’ll have to check their website for days and times), and they also offer Birthday Parties. I know a lot of people come to our site looking for ideas for Kids Birthday Parties in the Poconos and this is another great option – especially for the parents – you get to sit back and watch your kids play, they get their energy out, not you!
