On Friday, March 14th, local playwright Bill Donnelly presents his most recent play “Silverstein” at 7:30 in cooperation with Harmony Presents at Hawley Silk Mill. This witty and quirky play featuring some of the areas most accomplished actors is sure to delight audiences. “Silverstein” is a 90 minute play about a widower, Harry Silverstein who is married to Ruth Silverstein, a widow, for ten years. Harry wishes to leave his fortune from the sale of his business to Ruth’s son and nothing to his two daughters. Ruth objects. At Ruth’s request they go to see Ms. Sandrine Katz, Esq., a Trust and Estate Lawyer who specializes in writing the wills of famous people. Her philosophy is to write one’s will out of love and not anger. She is also a magician who practices on her clients.
Harmony Presents concerts and shows take place in the historic Boiler Room of the Hawley Silk Mill located on the ground floor at 8 Silk Mill Drive in Hawley. Audiences are encouraged to arrive early for preferred seating.
Tickets for “Silverstein” are $16 in advance and $20 at the door. They may be purchased in advance online at www.harmonypresents.com under the Community tab.
