On Saturday, Nov 1, Harmony Presents “folk-pop-harmony-driven-to-cute-to-boot-cake” duo Hannah & Maggie at 8:00pm. Bright-eyed and bolstered by a rapidly growing fan base, the award winning NYC duo has set out to make the world of singer-songwriters a more cheerful place. Although they’ve been favorably compared to Simon & Garfunkel and The Indigo Girls, these ladies have an undeniable originality and a sound all their own. Their efforts to blend the folk music they were raised on with a modern-day melodic energy prove successful time and again. With two studio-albums and a few barnstorming national tours under their belt, Hannah & Maggie show no signs of stopping (unless there are ducks crossing the street).
Harmony Presents concerts and shows take place in the underground theater of the Hawley Silk Mill located at 8 Silk Mill Drive in Hawley, PA. The theater is also known as the Boiler Room, since it was indeed once, the actual Boiler Room of the Hawley Silk Mill. The theater overlooks the falls shared with Ledges Hotel and audiences are encouraged to arrive early for preferred seating. Early Bird tickets have been sold out, but there are still advance tickets for $16. Tickets will also likely be available for $20 at the door.
