You are floating down the Mississippi when the band strikes up a tune and everyone is dancing, clapping and singing along. This is the experience of Roosevelt Dime, playing Harmony Presents on Saturday, November 23rd at 7:30 pm. Called a “perpetual crowd pleaser” by The New York Times and tickling the senses of audiences everywhere, this jug-band blues, New Orleans Soul and neo-folk musical group from another era is a site to see. Drunken, vintage atoms of banjo, gut-bucket basses, clarinet, and saxophone slip into 2013, filling the ho-hum heart with thrills, song and dance!
Restarting for this show, Cocoon Catering will be selling wine, beer and snacks prior to the show and during intermission on site at the concert. Harmony Presents these shows in the Boiler Room located on the lowest level of the Hawley Silk Mill at 8 Silk Mill Drive, Hawley, PA. Physical tickets may be purchased prior the event in person at during normal business hours and on Saturdays from 9am to 1 pm at AMSkier Insurance located on 209 Main Ave in Hawley. They may also be purchased on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays before 4:00 pm from Waterpure, the health and beauty vendor located in front of the Mill Market inside the Hawley Silk Mill. After this, tickets may be purchased at the door for $20.
