Camelback Mountain Adventures has just opened their new “Mountain Coaster” – the question is….Would you Ride it? Personally I’m not a fan of anything sketchy anymore, call it getting older, credit it to being a parent and not wanting to take unnecessary risks or just the fact that I’m quite the wimp anymore…but it’s not on my “to do” list. As a teenager I couldn’t get enough of roller coasters and amusement parks – I’m happy to have passed that torch to my 8 year and quite enjoy sitting contently on the sidelines enjoying some ice cream. On top of all that though, I’m 8 months pregnant so it’s not a reality in any stretch of the imagination right now.
BUT….I definitely could see my husband and oldest son doing this, and what I LOVE about the Poconos is opportunities just like this. We have so much at our fingertips – Casinos, Skiing, Skydiving, Zip lining – and now a Mountain Coaster – it can’t be beat! If you’re the adventurous type this definitely seems like it’s worth a shot, so if you try it out be sure to let us know!

Driver – $14.00 single ride
Minimum 9 years old
At least 52″ tall
Rider – $10.00 single ride
Minimum 3 years old
At least 36″ tall
Must be driven by a guest 16 years or older
