On Saturday, March 5 at 8pm Harmony Presents will showcase 2015 Sammie Music Award’s “Artist of the Year” and “Outstanding New Artist,” Joseph in the Well. Managing Director of Harmony Presents, Jill Carletti states, “Joseph in the Well is an original music project led by violinist-looper Joe Kye. This incredible duo features violin, lush string loops, upright bass, and percussion and their unique sound has been influenced by artists including Andrew Bird, Sufjan Stevens, and Miles Davis. Indicative of Joe’s migrant upbringing, Joseph in the Well draws from multiple genres, including rock, jazz, classical, and world music. Joseph in the Well produces an uplifting and empowering sound, one clearly aimed at self-reflection, re-discovery, and budding compassion. It is about love, loss, and a universal community. This will be Joseph and the Well’s first show with us, and we couldn’t be more excited!”
Concerts by Harmony Presents are located in the underground theater of the Hawley Silk Mill at 8 Silk Mill Drive in Hawley, PA. Advance tickets are available online for $19 for the first 30 ticket buyers by the Wednesday before the show. General Admission tickets are available for $22 after Advance tickets sell-out and at the door. Ticket holders get 20% off their bill at Glass Wine Bar & Bistro after 9:30 pm on the day of the show. Tickets may also be purchased in advance in person at AMSkier Insurance located at 209 Main Ave in Hawley.
