You have to love road closures, they pop up when you least expect it – it always seems to happen when you’re late for work or an appointment. It’s like that person who gets in front of you and does 30 MPH in a 55 MPH when you’re already running 10 minutes late. I figure someday when I retire and have a lot of free time(wishful thinking) I’m going to just drive around and do that just for fun…slow the youngings down for the fun of it. Who knows though, maybe by then Google’s self driving cars will be the norm and my evil plan will be spoiled.
So to give you a heads up this weekend a rarity will occur – here’s advanced warning that I80 will be closed this Saturday into Sunday for 7 hours – from 11PM Saturday Night, September 15th to Sunday morning September 16th at 6AM. It’ll be closed eastbound from exit 307 to 308 and westbound from exits 308-305.
