Easter Fun and Holiday Dining at Camelback Resort

Featuring Easter Egg Hunt, Donut Decorating, Easter Bunny Photo Hop, Hemispheres Easter Brunch Buffet and Berrelli’s Three Course Tasting Menu Dinner

TANNERSVILLE, Penn. – Easter in the Poconos at Camelback Resort is a holiday to be shared with family and friends – Egg Hunt for the Kids, Donut Decorating, Easter Bunny Photo Hop, Balloon Twisting and Sand Art for all, a tempting-to-everyone Brunch Buffet at Hemispheres restaurant and for a fancier three-course dinner for gourmet diners a visit to Berrelli’s Italian Chophouse is a fine choice.

Sunday, April 9

An exciting Easter Egg Hunt at Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark takes place before the park opens from 8 to 9 a.m. Kids should collect six different colored eggs – red, blue, pink, yellow, orange and green – and they’ll receive a prize. Donut Decorating is from 8 to 10 a.m.; the Easter Bunny Photo Hop photo taking session is from 9 to 11 a.m.; Balloon Twisting from 9 to 11 a.m.; and Sand Art from 2 to 4 p.m.

Hemispheres Restaurant Easter Brunch Buffet
Sunday, April 9, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Families and groups of friends will especially enjoy the bounteous holiday buffets featured at Hemispheres, located off the lobby at Camelback Resort. This Easter, the fun and deliciousness begin with selections from the Fresh and Composed Salad Bar, Fresh Fruit Display with mango cream and burrata cheese, Heirloom Tomato Display, Charcuterie and Local Cheese Display, Artisan Bread, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail and Celery Smoked Salmon with selected accompaniments. The Breakfast Display offers scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, applewood smoked bacon, turkey bacon, pork sausage, Belgian waffles, French toast and buttermilk pancakes. Then there are the Featured Carving & Action Tables offering Cooked-To-Order Omelets with assorted toppings, Oven Roasted Prime Rib Au Jus with horseradish sauce and Slowly Braised Lamb Shank with thyme demi-glace. In addition, this festive buffet will have Three Cheese Ravioli with tomato sauce, Crispy Seared Snapper Fillet with chardonnay reduction, Pan Seared Sea Scallops with jasmine rice and red curry sauce, Grilled Airline Chicken Breast with shallot reduction and Wild Mushroom Risotto with arugula and truffle oil. There will also be several vegetable sides including Roasted Heirloom Carrots with Butter Glazed Asparagus Spears, Grilled Baby Zucchini and Squash, Fine Herb Mashed Potatoes. Crispy Potato Wedges and Cauliflower Gratin. Especially For Kids serves assorted pizzas, French fries, mac and cheese, fried fish sticks, cheeseburger sliders, butter broccoli and steamed rice. For Easter sweet satisfaction, the Desserts are Fresh Fruit Tartlets, Chocolate Covered Strawberries, Fresh Strawberry Mousse, Triple-Layered Chocolate Cake, Tiramisu and Chef Selected Petit Fours.

Berrelli’s Italian Chophouse Three-Course Elegant Easter Tasting Menu
Sunday, April 9, from 4 to 9 p.m.

At Berrelli’s Italian Chophouse at Camelback Resort, it’s always special to share a robust, gourmet chophouse dinner with family and friends – cozy and comfortable in a rustic A-frame setting with mountain views. This Easter the meal starts with an Iceberg Salad composed of crispy lettuce, bacon lardons, thinly sliced peppadew, scallions, toasted pecans and tomato-ranch dressing. The Main Course options are Oven Roasted Colorado Rack of Lamb with potato galette, tomato confit, braised root vegetables and thyme reduction; Pan-Seared Snapper Fillet with spring vegetables, purple potatoes and lemon beurre blanc sauce; NY Strip Steak served with bordelaise sauce, herb roasted fingerlings and grilled asparagus spears; or Wild Exotic Mushroom and Arborio Risotto dressed with truffle oil and pecorino romano. The Dessert is a lovely Double Chocolate Loaf Cake accompanied by vanilla gelato, mixed berries and fresh mint.
