For Saturday, March 15th, over St. Patty’s day weekend, Harmony Presents Greg Klyma, one of those young artists who truly carry the torch of Woody Guthrie and Ramblin’ Jack. A captain of words, Greg also conjures up some Mark Twain and David Sedaris, with a story-telling and musical approach that will knock the cobwebs out of your head. Greg Klyma isn’t Irish, but he’s always cooking up articulate and amusing stories & songs full of enduring themes, and populist ideals. His music and stories tell of people who work hard, love their families, take care of each other, suffer poverty and unfairness, but come out with their dignity intact. What could be more Irish than that? Don’t miss this true troubadour!
Really immerse yourself in the Irish spirit and make sure to take advantage of the delicious Irish buffet provided by Cocoon Catering prior to the show at Cocoon Coffee House, just a one-minute walk from the Hawley Silk Mill. The menu for the evening includes Chicken Pot Pies, Vegetarian Lasagna, Caesar Salad and a Cheese and Fruit board. Drinks are available to purchase as well. Doors for the show open at 7:15 and then begins at 7:30 pm.
Dinner will be available at 6pm and tickets for dinner and the show or just the show may be purchased in advance online at www.harmonypresents.com. They may also be purchased in person at AMSkier Insurance Agency, Cocoon Coffee House and Settlers Inn during regular business hours. Tickets for the show only are $16 in advance and $20 at the door. Tickets for dinner and show are $35 in advance and $40 at the door.
Harmony Presents concerts and shows take place in the historic Boiler Room of the Hawley Silk Mill located on the ground floor at 8 Silk Mill Drive in Hawley. Audiences are encouraged to arrive early for preferred seating.
