On Friday, December 2 at 8pm Harmony Presents will showcase Swampcandy, a “whiskey drinkin’, foot stompin’, hand clappin’, aggressive Mississippi blues duo,” as described by Jill Carletti, Managing Director of Harmony Presents. The show will take place in the underground theater at the Hawley Silk Mill. Carletti continues, “This wildly entertaining blues and roots influenced duo won the 2014 Floyd Festival On The Rise competition coming in first place out of 35 bands that performed. They’ve been traveling around the world with their sound and impressing audiences everyone. Swampcandy doesn’t just play the blues, they transform the genre, taking one of American music’s oldest forms and rendering it brand new. This duo easily sounds more like a trio or four-piece band and delivers an incredible live show.”
Concerts by Harmony Presents are located in the underground theater of the Hawley Silk Mill at 8 Silk Mill Drive in Hawley, PA. Advance tickets are $20 and are available up until midnight before the show. General Admission tickets are available on the day of the show for $23.
