25 Days Of A Pocono Christmas: Day 7

December 7, 2012 by Pocono Talk Leave a Comment

Day 7 – Remote Start / Heated Seats

Winter in the Poconos is chilly to say the least, and personally I’m not exactly a fan of the cold, so a few years back we invested in a remote starter for our vehicle and it has been worth every penny.  A remote start allows you to turn your vehicle on by using a remote (either your existing car remote or a separate remote) the same way you would remotely lock or unlock your vehicle.  This means that you can grab your morning coffee and hit the remote start, and by the time you’re done your coffee and ready to head off to work, your car is warmed up.  Not only is it nice to get into a pre-warmed vehicle, but on icy days it helps with defrosting, saving time in the long run.

If you already have a remote start or it’s not up your alley, you could consider getting heated seats.  They can be installed on both cloth and leather and almost ANY vehicle.

These are great gift ideas to give yourself or a family member to make their lives easier and more comfortable.

Blossom Installations in the Poconos is a local company that offers both products, you can learn more and contact them on their website:  www.blossominstallations.com
