Day 18: The Crossings Premium Outlets In Tannersville
I’m straying away from the smaller local Pocono stores that we’ve featured the past 18 days as the days are ticking down and if you’re not done shopping by now you’re probably short on time and scrambling! We’ll feature some upcoming events the next few days to close out our 25 Days of A Pocono Christmas, but today we’re highlighting The Crossings Premium Outlets in Tannersville.
Better known as simply “The Crossings”, The Crossings Premium Outlets in Tannersville hosts a plethora of name brand stores that carry discounted merchandise. Compared to New York and Philadelphia there are some great deals to be found, but many prices aren’t that far below what you might find at a comparable retailer or online if you’re savvy enough.
The Crossings is a great place to get all of your last minute shopping done as there is almost any store you can think of – from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory that sells chocolates & caramel apples covered with all sorts of nuts and candy combinations, to Toys R Us Express (the closest Toys R Us in the Poconos) to familiar name brands like Yankee Candle, Calvin Klein, Carters Reebok and more. Keep in mind that although the stores are connected by an overhang, you’re still outside traveling between stores so in cold and/or wet weather, it’s not exactly ideal if you have kids or a stroller to worry about.
If you’re still on the lookout for quick shopping there is always Main Street in Stroudsburg, PA that hosts many smaller local stores and the Stroud Mall on Route 611 in Stroudsburg if you want to get out of the cold and do your shopping indoors.
